Tas Sports Physio was first established in the late 1970’s as Tasmania Sports & Physiotherapy Clinic. In that time we have gone on to become a widely respected and specialist provider of top end treatment for elite athletes, general injuries and preventative programs.
Michael Jamison joined the practice as a partner in 1994, and has since been joined by Rebecca Marshall and Darren Poon. Together they have brought together an experienced and dedicated team of Physiotherapists, Massage therapists, Personal Trainers and support staff.
We have helped thousands of injured athletes and general community members to recover from their musculoskeletal injuries. We are committed to providing ongoing care, support and education to each of our patients are now seeing 2nd and 3rd generation family members coming to our clinic seeking assistance.
The simple philosophy of “complete care” summarises our approach. Our ultimate aim is to return people to their pre-injury state and to provide them with simple strategies to avoid recurrence.
